1. Definitions

In these terms, the following words have the meanings given below:

• "We / Us / Our" — Manee Horology, operating from 78/3 Charoen Krung Road, Bang Rak, Bangkok 10500, Thailand.
• "Service" — watch repair, calibration, crystal replacement, and other horological services we provide.
• "Website" — our website at maneehorad.world and all pages under it.
• "You / Client" — any person who contacts us, submits an enquiry, or leaves a watch in our care.
• "Agreement" — the contract formed when you accept our written estimate for a specific service.
• "Timepiece" — the watch or clock you leave with us for assessment or service.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Website or contacting us to arrange a service, you confirm that:

• · You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
• · You have read these terms and agree to be bound by them.
• · Where you act on behalf of another person or organisation, you have authority to bind them.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Website or contact us to arrange a service.

3. Description of Services

Manee Horology provides watch repair and servicing from our workshop in Bangkok, Thailand. Services currently offered include sapphire crystal replacement, movement calibration and regulation, and full service for complicated mechanical movements. We work with a range of Swiss and Japanese calibers; the scope of work we can accept depends on the specific timepiece and its condition.

We do not operate a postal service from outside Thailand. Services are available in person at our workshop or by courier arrangement within Thailand. We do not make representations regarding the availability of specific parts for any given timepiece prior to assessment.

Our services are subject to our capacity at the time of enquiry. We reserve the right to decline work that falls outside our scope or that we judge to be unsuitable for our current capability.

4. Enquiries and Estimates

Submitting an enquiry through our website or by phone or email does not constitute a binding agreement. An agreement is formed only when we provide a written estimate and you confirm in writing that you wish to proceed on those terms.

Estimates are based on the condition of the timepiece as presented for assessment. Where the work reveals additional requirements not apparent at the assessment stage, we will notify you in writing before proceeding. You may accept, modify, or decline the revised scope.

Indicative prices shown on the Website are starting points and may vary depending on the specific movement, parts availability, and condition of the watch.

5. Your Responsibilities

When engaging our services, you agree to:

• · Provide accurate information about the timepiece and any known history of prior repairs or damage.
• · Confirm that you are the lawful owner of the timepiece, or that you have authority to submit it for service.
• · Collect the timepiece within 30 days of notification that it is ready. Watches left beyond this period may incur a storage charge.
• · Use the Website only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these terms.

Prohibited uses of the Website include: attempting to interfere with its operation; using automated tools to scrape or harvest content; submitting false or misleading information; or using the site to facilitate any unlawful activity.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website — including text, layout, images, and design — is the property of Manee Horology or its content suppliers, and is protected under applicable intellectual property law. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial reference only.

You may not reproduce, adapt, distribute, or commercially exploit any part of the Website without our prior written consent. No licence to any intellectual property is granted by these terms beyond what is strictly necessary for lawful personal use of the Website.

7. Payment

All prices are quoted and payable in Thai Baht (฿). Payment is due on collection of the timepiece, unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash and bank transfer; please confirm accepted payment methods at the time of booking.

We do not begin work without a written estimate agreed by the client. Where a deposit is requested, this will be specified in the estimate. Deposits are non-refundable if you withdraw from a service after work has begun, except where the withdrawal results from a material change in scope on our part.

If a timepiece is not collected within 60 days of notification and payment has not been received, we reserve the right to treat the timepiece as abandoned. We will make reasonable attempts to contact you before taking this step.

8. Service-Specific Terms

Turnaround times given at the estimate stage are indicative. Delays may occur where parts must be sourced, where additional work is identified, or where unforeseen circumstances arise. We will notify you of any significant change to the expected timeline.

The six-month workshop period offered on full service work begins from the date of collection. It covers workmanship and the parts we supply. It does not cover damage from impact, water ingress beyond the gasket standard restored, or wear arising from normal use. It does not extend to parts that were in poor condition prior to our service and noted as such in the condition report.

We do not polish case finishes unless explicitly requested. Where polishing is requested, we will note the original finish condition and are not liable for the permanent alteration of that finish.

9. Disclaimers

The information on this Website is provided in good faith for general reference only. Nothing on this site constitutes professional horological advice specific to your timepiece without a direct assessment by one of our watchmakers.

We make no representation that the Website will be available without interruption, free of errors, or free of viruses or harmful components. We may update or withdraw content at any time without notice.

Service outcomes depend on the condition of the timepiece, the availability of parts, and the nature of the work required. We do not promise specific timing results beyond what is stated in a written estimate for that particular piece.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Thai law, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with any service shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that specific service.

We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss, including loss of enjoyment, sentimental loss, or loss of value arising from market fluctuation.

We take reasonable precautions with all timepieces in our care, including secure storage and handling. In the unlikely event of accidental damage or loss while a timepiece is in our custody, our liability is limited to the fair market value of the watch at the time it was submitted, as determined by independent appraisal where the parties cannot agree.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under Thai consumer protection legislation.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Manee Horology and its staff from any claim, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your breach of these terms, your use of the Website in violation of applicable law, or any misrepresentation you make in connection with a service engagement.

12. Termination

You may withdraw from a service at any time before work begins by notifying us in writing. Where work has already begun, the provisions in Section 7 regarding deposits apply.

We may decline to proceed with or complete a service where we determine that continuing is not technically appropriate, where the timepiece presents unexpected risk of damage, or where you have breached these terms. In such cases we will notify you promptly and return the timepiece.

Sections 6, 9, 10, 11, and 13 of these terms survive any termination of a service agreement.

13. Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any dispute arising from these terms or from a service engagement shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Thailand.

Before initiating formal proceedings, we ask that you contact us directly to allow us the opportunity to resolve the matter informally. Most concerns can be addressed through a direct conversation. Where informal resolution is not possible within 30 days of notification, either party may refer the dispute to mediation before the Thai Mediation Center or another mutually agreed body, prior to litigation.

14. General Provisions

• Entire agreement. These terms, together with any written estimate accepted by you, constitute the entire agreement between us for the relevant service.
• Severability. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
• Waiver. Our failure to enforce any term on any occasion is not a waiver of our right to enforce it in future.
• Assignment. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these terms without our written consent. We may transfer our obligations to a successor without your consent.
• Notices. Notices under these terms should be sent in writing to [email protected] or to our postal address.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. For active service agreements in progress, the version of the terms in place at the time the agreement was formed applies unless you consent to updated terms.

Continued use of the Website or engagement of services after a change to these terms constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
